Dear readers,
There is one main reason I still come to the Opry…Little Jimmy Dickens.
You cannot and will not ever argue with the fact he is the one true treasure country music has left.
We still have Ray Price and Merle Haggard..and both of them would kneel down to this man just like
Eddie Stubbs did on this video.

This man makes me cry and has made me cry my entire life, when he stood on the blessed circle
of wood and would recite “Raggedy Ann” and hold that doll up the whole auditorium is silent.
He captivates the audience both young and old and everyone loves him very much.
He’s overcome brain surgery, vocal problems and many other obstacles in his Opry
tenure which I believe other than Jean Shepherd is the longest active on the Opry.
Last night, this man came to us and left us a message and the integrity and love
he brought to the stage to see The Old Crow Medicine Show
become inducted to the Opry as members was overwhelming.

I think the world of Eddie Stubbs,he has always been a pillar of our foundation.
And to see Little Jimmy Dickens return even to just say hello and Thank You
was a true blessing.LOVE THESE PEOPLE because we aren’t promised another tommorrow
and you never know when they will pass away.
Right Now there is a true emptiness about the Opry stage…simply because our
greatest treasure is not feeling well and cannot play right now.

I’m sure I speak for THOUSANDS when I say “We Love You Jimmy Dickens.
