Don was a piece of american history, part of an era when country music was unherad of and the birth of something enormous began. The era of the greatest country music singer and songwriter the world has ever known ....Hank Williams. Don played steel guitar for Hank his short career as alcohol and drug addiction took Hank from us at 29,in 1954.
Hank's funeral was the biggest in american history second only to Elvis Presely. And now the last of his stories, the last of his memory is all gone.

"Fraulein" "I Can't Stop Loving You" (recorded by Don Gibson) and 'He'll Have To Go " (recorded by Gentleman Jim Reeves)
