Folks my right arm is once again out there pounding the pavement in the Southeastern part of the Country for ME to bring YOU some REAL music articles. This man does a LOT for me and helps me out a TON when it comes to reviews, and finding new music. He is CONSTANTLY sending me stuff to keep us busy.

Here is a recent update regarding the Florida based Mile O Festival for 2018:

I hope everyone is as excited for the Mile 0 Festival in Key West, FL as I
am. It features a killer lineup that just got better. They recently added
Sunny Sweeney, Jamie Lin WIlson, Garrett Bryan, Walt Wilkins and Tina
Wilkins to the lineup that already featured the best of outlaw country and
red dirt. It’s going to be a good one.

I know many of you are concerned about Hurricane Irma’s impact to Key West,
FL. The good news is the island is getting everything back up and running
and will re-open for tourism on October 1st. That means that Mile 0
Festival is still happening in February of next year. Many local bars and
hot spots are already re-opening and Key West is ready to get back to
partying. I know I am looking forward to it.

Also, platinum and gold VIP passes are sold out and went quickly when they
became available. That means that only GA passes remain. The good news is
that due to the storm, Mile 0 has extended the sale price of $275. It will
still increase to $325 at a later date so do not wait to get tickets if you
are interested.

Finally, I know many folks are wondering about where they can stay in the
Keys after Irma. I have been informed that Bahia Honda State Park is going
to be closed for the rest of the year and they do not know about 2018. The
Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA remains closed and was heavily damaged in
Irma. It is unknown when they will re-open. I have however seen that
Boyd’s Campground is taking future reservations and hopes to be fully
operational by the time Key West is open for tourism. Of course you can
always book a hotel along with your ticket if you prefer to go that route.
Keep an eye out here for further updates and I will pass things along as I
know them.
