Hulaweeen has added Warren Haynes to a stacked multi genre lineup that includes a lot of cool bluegrass bands in the mix. Warren Haynes joins The String Cheese Incident for a set called The Warren Haynes Incident which will be a special Saturday night Shebang featuring songs of The Grateful Dead & Allman Brothers Band who the latter Warren Haynes was a member of and hosted their own event at The Park for decades.
Warren Haynes joins a stacked multi genre lineup full of cool bluegrass bands, and some that are new to the Florida region. This festival includes acts like Jon Stickley Trio, Mountain Grass Unit, Tire Fire, The Ain’t Sisters and Magoo who have yet to do a proper tour of Florida, so I’m looking forward to catching their set.
Hulaween is a multi genre festival that includes edm, jam bands and bluegrass but also often branches out into even more genres of music. Last year, I saw Shadowgrass and Molly Tuttle at Hulaween along with the jam band Goose and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country. That was a great night of music. This year, I’m also looking forward to acts like Eggy, Lettuce, Taper’s Choice and the always inventive sets from The String Cheese Incident. Festivals like this one are also good ways to experiment in genres you might not normally see otherwise, so I’m looking forward to seeing bands I wouldn’t normally check out.
