Holy Lord Almighty!
\nI got two HUGE music festivals going on to complete 2014 right now.
\nI got TONS of preparations right now for Muddy Roots Music Festival<\/a> in Cookeville Tn at the
\nJunebug Ranch AND I got Outlaw Fest in Bowling Green Kentucky in October.
\nBOTH festivals have been really nice to O’l Gary since I started reporting on them.<\/p>\n

I TRY to report on as many festivals as I can for all Country related genres
\nand THIS ONE going on in Nashville is going to take some time to fully
\nreport on!
\nI’m not going to lie..I got HUNDREDS of bands to delve into on this one!
\nAnd this event is going to be HUGE!
\nAnd you can daggum sure bet I’ll have MORE articles to follow for you
\nto learn more about the artists and bands involved.
\nAND PLUS there’s so many ways to pay to see it and places to go
\nit’s hard to actually grasp this whole deal.
\nAs a consumer..and in this instance I AM…I PAY just like you do
\nIt’s really confusing.<\/p>\n

As far as I CAN SURMISE there are four ways to see this event.
\n1. Becoming an Americana Music Association Member or registering for
\nthe conference. This ranges from 365-515.00 right now.
\n2. Buy a wristband for 50 dollars, BUT this does NOT include the awards
\nbanquet or the daily events or the Riverfront Park Shows.
\n3. Open To The Public. This option is venue capacity only.
\nPrices of admission vary upon the venue’s discretion.
\n4. A 99 dollar wristband gets you the same as the 50 dollar one
\nand also includes the Riverfront shows.<\/p>\n

Also,some of these choices include or do not include the Hall Of Fame
\nwhich right now features Alan Jackson’s car.

This event is almost as huge as Fan Fair (I’m sorry I REFUSE to call it CMA Fest).
\nThere are event going on ALL OVER the place and they keep pouring into my
\ninbox like firecrackers!
\nJust TONS of acts and bands and artists..holy cow!<\/p>\n

First I will tell you about the venues that will have nightly
\nshowcases of the bands and artists.
\nStation Inn
\n3rd And Lindsley<\/a>
\nThe Basement<\/a>
\nMercy Lounge<\/a>
\nCity Winery<\/a>
\nThe High Watt<\/a>
\nThe Rutledge
\nALL of these venues will be 20 at the door if you choose the THIRD option.
\nAnd once they are full they are full, there will be NO STANDING ROOM ALLOWED
\nfor ANY of the performances scheduled to be at ANY of these venues.<\/p>\n

Also there will be features and shows on Music City Roots<\/a> as well.
\nI’m telling you this is going to be completely NUTS…BETTER than Fan Fair!<\/p>\n

WRISTBANDS:<\/p>\n

Is there a shuttle bus?
\nYes. All wristband wearers are invited to use the bus, which travels from the
\nconference center to all participating venues.<\/p>\n

What does my wristband entitle me to?
\nWristband wearers may attend ALL evening showcases at ALL participating venues ALL nights.
\nIn the event of a line, laminate badge holders do have priority access.<\/p>\n

Can I buy tickets for individual showcases?
\nYes. However, tickets for individual showcases are $20. You only have access to that one venue.
\nIn the event of a line, priority goes to laminate badge wearers, the wristband wearers, then
\nindividual ticket holders.<\/p>\n

How do I purchase a wristband?
\nWristbands will be available for purchase at all participating venues, mercylounge.com, the
\nregistration desk at the conference center and select retail outlets. Wristbands will NOT be mailed to you.<\/p>\n

Where do I pick up my wristband?
\nWristbands ordered through mercylounge.com will be available for pick up at the Cannery Row complex.
\nWristbands will NOT be mailed to you.<\/p>\n

Will wristbands sell out if I don\u2019t buy them in advance?
\nProbably not, but the possibility exists.<\/p>\n

Are wristbands refundable?
\nNo.<\/p>\n

Can I get into the award show with a wristband?
\nNo.<\/p>\n

Can I get into the Riverfront Park event featuring The Avett Brothers with a wristband?
\nNo.<\/p>\n

Will I receive a letter confirming that my wristband purchase was made?
\nYes. We ask that you bring it with you.<\/p>\n

What happens if I lose my wristband?
\nYou will need to buy another one.<\/p>\n

Does my wristband guarantee entry to the venues?
\nYes, in most cases. In the event of a line, laminate badge wearers have priority access. If there is a show you just cannot miss, we suggest you arrive to the venue prior to the first showcase of that night.<\/p>\n

Will wristbands be mailed to me?
\nNO!<\/p>\n

I am 17 years old. May I go to a show at an 18+ or 21+ venue if I am with my parents?
\nThe Station Inn welcomes you with your parents. The Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, The High Watt
\nand The Basement have strict age policies. These venues are \u201cbar settings\u201d and do not allow minors
\nto attend, regardless of parental accompaniment. They are unable to negotiate on this point.
\nThe Rutledge and 3rd and Lindsley are 18+ venues, also regardless of parental accompaniment.<\/p>\n
