I have been a fan of all three of these artists all of my life, or all of their career\u00a0 in the case of Kasey Musgraves and many times when these state institutions recognize these artists, I try to release the press release with a little commentary on them. Whenever I travel I make it a point to visit these many smaller institutions and museums stretched across the country.<\/p>\n

I’m not a really big fan of Musgraves latest two albums (I do indeed own them) but her middle albums like Pageant Material were the best, with my favorite song being “Good Ol Boys Club”. Which is a double meaning song of being a gal, and not wanting to be a part of the big scene of the music industry.<\/p>\n

Moe Bandy is a name that goes without saying is synonymous with Honky Tonk Country, and he is one of the most active Legends we have with us today. I have had the opportunity to sponsor stages with him as a headliner in Kansas City, and I covered his shows in many other states.<\/p>\n

Radney Foster is one of the many songwriters that had a long heyday in the 90s with a song called “Just Call Me Lonesome” and others. He is considered a Legend among his peers and among the music industry as a whole.<\/p>\n

FORT WORTH, Texas. – Award-winning country music legend Moe Bandy has been inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame at Billy Bob\u2019s Texas in Fort Worth. Bandy was inducted into the Class of 2023 along with The Texas Ranger Division of the Department of Public Safety, San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, Cleo Hearn, and Boots O\u2019Neal. Bandy, was a proud competitor in bull riding prior to pursuing country music full-time. He now joins the ranks of Willie Nelson, George Strait, Red Steagall, Lyle Lovett, Clay Walker, Robert Earl Keen, Aaron Watson, and Bob Wills who have all received this prestigious honor.<\/p>\n

Kacey Musgraves inducts Radney Foster into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame<\/p>\n

Foster joins Alejandro Escovedo, Rodney Clawson, W.C. Clark and Gary P. Nunn,\u00a0as the latest inductees<\/p>\n

April 19, 2023 \u2013\u00a0 Austin, TX \u2013 In a ceremony at Austin\u2019s Moody Theatre on February 25,\u00a0Kacey Musgraves<\/a>\u00a0joined\u00a0Radney Foster<\/a>\u00a0onstage for \u201cNobody Wins\u201d and \u201cTexas In 1880\u201d \u2013 songs she sang as his background singer at 19. Along with\u00a0Kelly Willis, Randy Rogers\u00a0and\u00a0William Beckmann, who also joined Foster on stage, Musgraves inducted her former boss into the 2023 Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Texas Heritage Songwriters Association<\/a>\u00a0honors Texas songwriters who have helped shape and define Texas culture. Other performers included\u00a0Ronnie Dunn, LeeRoy Parnell, W.C Clark, Escovedo, Clawson, Nunn\u00a0and\u00a0David Lee.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first Foster and Lloyd really changed music for me,\u201d said\u00a0Darius Rucker\u00a0in a video tribute,\u00a0 \u201cNo one deserves this more. Radney is one of the greatest songwriters of all time.\u201d Later in the tribute,\u00a0Keith Urban\u00a0said, \u201cRadney is the real deal. The first time I heard him sing, I thought, who is this voice? His album\u00a0See What You Want to See\u00a0was a game changer, his songwriting really spoke to me. I\u2019ve cut four songs off that record!\u201d<\/p>\n

Foster has written multiple number one singles and had countless cuts by artists like\u00a0Urban, the Chicks, Hootie and the Blowfish, Jack Ingram\u00a0and others.
