"Outlaw"

If you remember last year when I brought to you the 2023 Outlaw Music Festival from Franklin Tennessee, it featured host Willie Nelson and a star studded lineup of talent. As always with many of my articles, this one has become a yearly things along with many other of my titles. So, why don’t we delve into this one just a little bit here?

Back in 2016 they launched the inaugural Outlaw Music Festival in Pennsylvania, and that tour proved to be an immediate commercial success. The three participating companies ( which were Blackbird Presents, 313 Entertainment, and Willie himself) saw an intense entelechy, and chose to bring it to greater fruition.

From the get go, this tour and this brand proved to be one of the top 3 of it’s ilk, and even went on to launch the careers of some of the smaller billed acts at the time. A prime example of that was last year’s event I covered, that featured Joshua Quimby. Currently, he is blowing up the local circuit and he is going nowhere but up.

""

I have some truly great memories of last year’s event, and the older Willie gets, the more important these individual shows get. I cannot fathom how hard it must be to perform like that every night at 90, if THAT IS NOT OUTLAW WHAT IS? I know that this year Billy Strings will melt your faces off!

Here is a statement from the website concerning dates:
