This album is on the list of 2025 albums I missed out n featuring last year and just wanted to catch up on some things I was behind on. This album was one of them, and before the press release here, I wanted to say that the Po’ Ramblin’ Boys played one of these songs live last spring at the Suwanee Spring Reunion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have also heard people like Ketch Secor and others tell stories about recording this and stories of other people involved with it. They make it sound like that old tv show “Country’s Family Reunion” , where they sit around and tell stories and jokes about my heroes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a long list of special guests on this album that make it all the more desirable to replay over and over again like I did, and Wyatt Ellis is one of them. The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys are also on the album as well as many members of the Travelin’ McCourrys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nashville, TN – August 22, 2025 – When the late, great bluegrass legend Bobby Osborne <\/strong>passed away in 2023, his mentee and Po\u2019 Ramblin\u2019 Boys\u2019 mandolin star C.J. Lewandowski <\/strong>was not only mourning the loss of a dear friend, but he was also unsure of what to do with the material he\u2019d been recording with Osborne just months before. One night, sitting alone on his porch in the Smoky Mountains, Lewandowski felt as if Osborne was sitting next to him, telling him, \u201cI gave you something, now do what you want with it.\u201d While Lewandowski couldn\u2019t make this album with <\/em>Osborne anymore, he could absolutely finish it for <\/em>him. And so became the brand new album: Bobby Osborne, C.J. Lewandowski, & Friends\u2019 <\/strong>Keep On Keepin\u2019 On<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featuring the last few tracks ever recorded<\/strong> by the 91-year-old member of The Osborne Brothers and later, Bobby Osborne & The Rocky Top X-Press, Keep On Keepin\u2019 On <\/em>finds a whole host of folks who loved Osborne\u2014both personally and musically\u2014paying their respects in a way that adds one more jewel to Osborne\u2019s Bluegrass crown. For the remaining songs featuring Osborne only in inspiration, the all-star cast includes members of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Country Music Hall of Fame, stars of Osborne\u2019s beloved Grand Ole Opry, Grammy award-winners, members of The Rocky Top X-Press, Osborne\u2019s sons, and many other friends and fans of Bobby Osborne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
