Here is another album in that coming long list of banging album I loved in 2025 that I missed out on featuring so why not do it a little bit late? This band Magnolia Boulevard has been one of my jam bands for a while now, since I first encountered them. Their songs have those elongated solos that make their songs unique yet they maintain a relatable style with other bands out now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

My initial encounter I had with them was Kickin It on the Creek many years ago, I do know\u00a0 they played one of the two years I did go and\u00a0 was immensely impressed with them back then. “It’s About Time” the opening song is an amazing song, and it IS about DAMN TIME they got noticed more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As a single man of many years that filed for divorce and build my own life back up, I understand albums like this that theme GIRL POWER. Those are strong women out there that songs like “On My Own” talk about. Albums about women becoming independently strong are awesome to me, and I relate to them for that reason. “Strong Willed Women” was a terrific focal point for the cover songs on the back half that blend in well.<\/p>\n

Lexington, KY – November 28, 2025 – \u201cThings happen when they\u2019re supposed to happen,\u201d says Kentucky Rock\u2019n\u2019Soul quintet\u00a0Magnolia Boulevard<\/a>\u2019s frontwoman, Maggie Noelle. \u201cAnd I\u2019m so proud of this music coming out now with this group of dudes\u2014it\u2019s like we\u2019re finally getting what we kind of deserve.\u201d After eight years of high highs, low lows, lineup changes, births, deaths, love, heartbreak, and a global pandemic, the band has patiently adapted and evolved on the path to their\u00a0full-length debut, all while honing their razor-sharp live set on the road; a recipe for the national breakout success they\u2019re on their way towards.<\/p>\n

Today, the band takes the first step of that new journey with the release of\u00a0Magnolia Boulevard.\u00a0Captured by legendary Kentucky producer Duane Lundy, the eight-song LP runs the gamut of genres, all with thick threads of the blues and soul radiating from the tracks. \u201cWe like a lot of different things, so we knew we didn’t want to be restricted by any specific genre,\u201d keyboardist Ryan Allen says. \u201cThese are songs and stories of the struggles of Appalachian people, these little snapshots of time of what it\u2019s like to live around here\u2014from our perspective\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The powerhouse group is rounded out by Roddy Puckett (bass), Austin Lewis (guitar), and Brandon Johnson (drums). With this bountiful lineup, Magnolia Boulevard has been making the rounds around Southern Appalachia and beyond, each show an opportunity to once again justify its reputation as one of the rising, \u201cmust-see\u201d rock shows anywhere in the country. \u201cIt feels a lot better when it is the sum of all the parts, when you have five people all going after the same thing,\u201d Allen says. \u201cWe\u2019re not sacrificing or compromising anything, and in a way that we maybe had before. It feels like we\u2019ve got something substantial here that we\u2019re really proud of.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody in the band is also interpreting the lyrics and showing emotion, because they\u2019re into it, too,\u201d Noelle adds. \u201cThey feel the same emotions, and there\u2019s something magic about it [when we\u2019re playing].\u201d<\/p>\n
