Each summer leading local, regional and national bluegrass acts convene on the Hebron Fairgrounds<\/a> and deliver an awesome festival experience. Our Main Stage<\/a> festivities kick off on Thursday with our annual Band Competition<\/a> sponsored by Telefunken<\/a>.<\/h4>\n

Our Acoustic Stage<\/a>, featuring multi-genre Connecticut based acoustic acts will have 6 hours of music each day on Friday and Saturday. Thursday evening the Acoustic Stage will host an Open Mic & Jam for anyone interested.<\/h4>\n

Gates will open at 1 pm on Wednesday for early bird campers. Camp<\/a> on site, stay at our host hotel<\/a> or come for the day or night using our close, ample parking.<\/h4>\n

There will be plenty to do for the whole family. Learn about our Camping<\/a>, Family Fun Activities<\/a>, and Vendors<\/a>. Hebron is less than a hour away from Foxwoods<\/a>, Mohegan Sun<\/a> and Mystic, CT attractions<\/a>. Check out what else there is to do in the area on the CT Tourism site<\/a>.<\/h4>\n

Podunk is proudly presented by the members of the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival Inc. Board of Directors<\/a> and is held annually on the second full weekend of August in Hebron, CT.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival moved to its new home in 2014 at the Hebron Lions Fairgrounds in Hebron, CT. This four day festival is a great family event with plenty of music and fun for all. Our 21st year will be no different as we will bring the best of Bluegrass to the stage on the second weekend of August. We will also again have a second stage of Acoustic Music. There is plenty to do at the festival with free workshops, food and craft vendors, kids activities, Kids Academy, Bluegrass University for adults (addition fee required) and plenty of jamming.
