I have a wide group of friends nationwide from A TON of scenes, and these folks in Colorado are very very special to me. Miss Elaine and her Mom are wonderful people, you know this website is dedicated to the PEOPLE even more so than the bands. This website is also dedicated to the memory of Jon Hensley, who was a music junkie even more than I am\u2026and Jo Jo the pup.<\/p>\n<p>I cover about six genres and scenes on this website, and you know Roots Music really doesn\u2019t have the competition that Bluegrass has as far as festivals go. I myself LOVE them because it brings a TON of different acts all into one place, or in this festivals case, two.<\/p>\n<p>See this festival is set up kind of like Americanafest, Fayetteville Roots Festival, and Heart Of Texas Festival. Those are all different genres and scenes BUT they are all indoors as well as outdoors, and they all involve multiple venues. Much more of a \u201clocal\u201d atmosphere, and you know that\u2019s NOT a bad thing. Mr. Jimmy and his crew always sets up some terrific music for their patrons every year, and I NEED to get out there one day soon\u2026promise.
