RECORD STORE DAY 2025 IS SATURDAY, APRIL 18TH
I have so many stories about past RSD parties and people from my many years of collecting music. The shitty coffee, the burnt free hot dogs, and the thrill of finding a gem in the wild is what it’s all about. The color variants and the posters in the RSD albums make it fun for me.
I keep a CLOSE EYE on what RSD is doing in my community and the stores involved, heck I even go hit up Books A Million! They carry some titles too. I will be updating this article on a weekly basis from now until spring, with lists and pictures from stores involved. STAY TUNED!

Organizers are thrilled to kick off the new year with an official “Save The Date” request for Record Store Day 2025, taking place on Saturday, April 12! Since 2008, independently-owned record stores around the world have been the focus of a day to celebrate the role they play in their communities and the people who make them spin: the staff who run them, customers who shop them, and the artists who make the music they sell. In 2025, the continuing popularity resurgence of physical media, including the vinyl and CD formats, means more people than ever are coming to the party at the record store. Record Store Day is usually held on the third Saturday in April, but in 2025 that falls during a bank holiday in many countries, so this year’s worldwide celebration is planned for April 12. Mark your calendars and save the date! Look for more announcements shortly regarding events, participating artists, and special releases!
