And since their Chief Creative Officer is none other than Dave Cobb, this is not going to be a negative thing at all. 49 Winchester is one of those bands that emanated upon the market over a decade ago when we had the 2014 swing slam of Country bands that followed alongside them in closer genres. A good example are The Red Clay Strays, whom are considered Red Dirt by some. Whatever YOU call them, I call them Country. 2013 was an awakening for me in so many ways, made possible by bands like this.
The band, consisting of Isaac Gibson, Bus Shelton, Chase Chafin, Noah Patrick, Tim Hall, and Justin Louthian, continues to tour, including performances for 2026 that I included below. I plan to head out to the Burl in Lexington Kentucky in the spring and hopefully I can feature some of their new songs.

(L-R): 49 Winchester’s Bus Shelton, MCA’s Mike Harris, 49 Winchester’s Noah Patrick, MCA’s Rob Femia and Dave Cobb, 49 Winchester’s Isaac Gibson, MCA’s Katie McCartney, 49 Winchester’s Justin Louthian, New West Records’ John Allen, 49 Winchester’s Tim Hall and Chase ChafinJordan Dziekan
Upcoming Album: A full-length album, produced by Dave Cobb, is expected in 2026, serving as the follow-up to Leavin’ This Holler.
Watching 49 Winchester’s remarkable growth and success over the past several years has been incredibly rewarding,” adds John Allen, President of New West. “Their achievements reflect the band’s extraordinary talent and relentless work ethic, as well as the dedication of everyone at New West. Partnering once again with my longtime friend Dave Cobb is always a pleasure, and MCA is the perfect home for 49 Winchester as we work together to reach even greater heights.
