The next installment of the John Hartford Memorial Festival is in the works, With the regretful 2021  passing of the creator, John Hotze. Tom Burkhart has joined with Brent Turner and John Grantz to maintain the festival into the future.  The event is scheduled for June 1st through the 4th in 2022. We will be moving it to a new location, the Lawrence County Recreational Park in Springville, Indiana to better accommodate the festival experience.  “The new location will allow the multi-day festival to have a much larger camping area and room for everyone to spread out,” said Tom Burkhart, festival organizer. “Nearly 8 times more acreage is going to give us all plenty of wiggle room and air space. It will also help make the event more affordable to attend including free tent camping and free hot showers with every ticket.”  Lawrence County Recreational Park is less than 40 miles from the location where the event was held for the past 11 years and is only 12 miles south of Bloomington.

Visit; HARTFORDFEST.COM for more information.

Tickets and camping options will go on sale around December 1 on our website. Cunningham Golf Carts will start taking reservations for carts around the same time. Mailing list subscribers will be notified about 24 hours before tickets go on sale to the public. Our initial lineup will be announced when tickets go on sale.
