This article is my yearly one that will dedicate all of the information I have about this event. I try to make an article for each of my yearly ones on my list, so that my readers that would like to attend these festivals can do so in an informed manner.
This outdoor festival feature 3 stages, 2 are in tents and 1 is a large wood structured stage with no cover, so BRING SUNSCREEN. The nice thing here is that everything is somewhat close together, and if your favorite acts overlap ( and it’s dry ) you won’t have far to walk. It has STEEP hills and if you are constantly walking to camp and back, it CAN be tough, come prepared. If it rains ( and it has every year except a few ) you will find out WHY it’s called MUDDY Roots, BRING SOCKS. Really, bring 3 pairs for EACH DAY! Foot powder and baby wipes need to be on top of your list.

We’re bringing that back as a Punk Rock Flea Market on vendor row. We’re fencing in a portion and allowing 10×10 spots for just $150. That includes 1 admission to the festival. This is a special promotion to include new folk to the field. We used to sell regular vendor spots. We still do too. We’re looking for a vegan or vegetarian vendor. Weekend passes include free camping and hot showers. Those tickets are HERE! |
Some years, there was shuttles going to hotels, as of now I do not know of any. But there is a large parking area in front of the bar, and you can walk to the vendor area fairly easily.
There are a TON of hotels in town that are fairly reasonably priced, I use LA Quinta right off I 40. There also not many stores nearby, there is a Dollar General not far, and the bar DOES SELL ICE. You get tickets in the bar/ticket office.
