Now I’m not a biker but I’ll be there at the finish for this worthy cause.PLEASE check into adopting a dog or cat and give them a good home,and COME SEE HANK III.

Ride Happy will be a combination motorcycle ride/concert featuring Hank Williams III beginning at COOL SPRINGS HARLEY DAVIDSON in Franklin ending at the THE LOVELESS BARN!Registration will be from 12-2 pm,and the ride will begin at 2 pm.

We’ll have set up at the Barn concessions, drinks including “adult beverages” and a silent auction to raise money to aid in the HTH mission. In the afternoon you’ll be able to enjoy national artists of multi-genre’s perform at the Barn!! It’s going to be a blast so keep checking in for more details regarding Ride Happy on our website and Facebook page.

Live music starts at 3 pm at the Loveless Barn,with a silent auction and the GREAT food the Loveless Barn serves.I have been told Shelton will be given the stage at 6pm and WILL do both Hillbilly and Hellbilly portions. TRUST ME the Loveless Barn is A REALLY nice venue it has full bar and food facilities and the atmosphere is fixin to be GREAT!

Join Hank Williams III, Hardee’s and Happy Tales Humane on a scenic motorcycle ride through the beautiful countryside of middle Tennessee. Riders will register at Harley Davidson Cool Springs in Franklin from noon to 2:00 PM on the day of the ride. Destination is the one and only The Loveless Barn in Nashville. THIS will be a heck of a GREAT country show,as I’m sure Bill will perform a bunch of his thousands of country music cuts from various performers throughout the years.And my personal favorite
Opry star Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelious sing those wonderfull duets.

Singer/songwriter/acting  legend KRIS KRISTOFFERSON will perform at TOOTSIES’ “50th Anniversary Celebration” at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM” in downtown Nashville  on Sunday November 7th.

Included in Kris’s performance will be country legend Little Jimmy Dickens,though it has not been announced if he will perform a full set.Also apperaing will be Terri Clark,andMark Chesnutt.

The nighttime festival is open to the general public. Hank III’s contract with Curb Records will not be up until December 31st, 2010. This is different from what Hank III was saying right after the release of The Rebel Within, that would be only “three or four months.” That means there will be no new music at least until 2011.

 Loretta Lynn’s memoir, Loretta Lynn: Coal Miner’s Daughter, will be reissued in trade paperback on Sept. 21 by Vintage Books. The publication coincides with the 50th anniversary of Lynn’s first single, “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl,” and the 30th anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film Coal Miner’s DaughterLynn will contribute a new foreword to the book, which has been out of print for nearly a decade. The memoir will be released simultaneously as an e-book and as an audio book narrated by Sissy Spacek, the actress who won an Oscar for portraying Lynn in the 1980 film. Lynn co-wrote the memoir with author George Vecsey.
