I’m always keeping my ear to the ground on so many fronts for the music I love. There are so many good music communities across the globe to give support to and The Americana Music Association is one of them. They teach me a lot about the business side of the music industry, and so much about bands I have yet to discover that I deem them a worthy asset to my website.

Each year, the festival week has town absolutely buzzing while they host all of their panels and artist showcases here in Nashville. I like to spend as much time as I can studying all of the people and subject matter they are featuring.

Last year was a huge disappointment to everybody, as the awards were all done on video because of the pandemic. The entire festival was all online and virtual, however there were still winners, and plenty to learn.

Last year’s winners are all included on this video here and also in this article here are the announcements for this year’s 2021 honors and awards nominees . This one is pretty much inclusive of many of the artists I cover on this website, however there are always quite a few artists I don’t know yet, or need to study further.

After all, that is pretty much why I built and started this website, I wanted to study the music and all of the derivatives of many genres, and become a better fan and a great writer. I truly look forward to covering this event even more in the future so keep tuning into the website.
