Spring Bluegrass Concert Series
We are thrilled to announce a Spring Bluegrass Concert Series presented by Boardwalk Pipeline Partners. Six performances are included in the series which kicks off March 9th with Grammy Award-winners the Steep Canyon Rangers.
In addition to the Steep Canyon Rangers, the series includes Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, Dailey & Vincent, The Isaacs, and Sierra Hull, all past ROMP Festival performers. On the heels of the ROMP Festival initial lineup release, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum offers the series as a tune-up for the annual festival held in Owensboro, Kentucky June 26-29, 2019. ROMP Festival serves as the Hall of Fame’s primary fundraising event.
Tickets for the series are on sale now. Series tickets include seats to all six concerts and features discounted pricing. Series ticket buyers have the same seats for each show, and tickets are transferrable. Preferred seating is $183 resulting in a savings of $40 compared to purchasing individual tickets to each concert, and reserved seating is $146 resulting in a savings of $35. Information about individual concert tickets, if available, will be shared in January.
Doors open for all shows at 5:00 pm, music begins at 7:00 pm. Discounted museum admission to tour exhibits is available to all concert attendees.
I’m going to be soon going to the museum for some future business meetings, and to tour the institution for some lessons on the history of Bluegrass Music, as soon as Christmas is over with I’ll be down there.
