Maaan this time of year I am SO excited, because I get to spend time dealing with TWO types of music that I feel need to be given more love, those being rockabilly and BLUEGRASS! This time every year excites me as I get to promote and share this wonderful series that the Ryman hosts yearly called Bluegrass Nights At The Ryman.
Another truly fine band involved here are the powerhouse Bluegrass super group The Earls Of Leichester who made my TOP 50 OF 2018 with a splendid double LIVE album from the Country Music Hall Of Fame theater.
I’m going to include ALL the information below on how to purchase tickets and take part in this program hosted by iconic announcer Mr. Eddie Stubbs. This sereis of shows features A TON of good bands including one of MY personal favorites Mr. Billy Strings. HERE is the official press release:
Every summer for more than two decades, Ryman Auditorium has celebrated our distinction as the birthplace of bluegrass music with our signature Bluegrass Nights summer series. Join us for incredible performances by the biggest names in bluegrass and meet the newcomers who are carrying the genre’s rich musical traditions into the future.
All shows are preceded by 650 AM WSM’s free showcase, Pickin’ on the Plaza, featuring regional bluegrass bands starting at 6 PM on the Ryman plaza.

Bluegrass Nights Series Pass includes all 6 nights listed below for a special price: $165!
Available for purchase up to the first show. Renewing Bluegrass pass holders will retain the same seats as the previous year unless a notation is made on the order. Renewal guests wishing to change their seats will be contacted in early March. New Bluegrass pass holders will be contacted about their seating in late March or early May.
