I do realize folks, that most of us cannot afford more than one or two festivals a year financially or physically even, but I stay largely in touch with over 300 of them nationwide now. For the ticket prices of many of the artists on some of these bands’ single shows, it’s actually a value in some cases.
Festivals are a great way to meet new crowds of likeminded people and even find a few new bands to fall in love with. vendor food isn’t always so bad, in fact I have had some of my finest meals out of DIY local vendor trucks that I seek out even off season of that particular festival. Some of them have hiking trails and so many other things to do that even your non music family will have activities to keep them busy.
HERE is where you can go get direct links and dates to over 300 nationwide DIY festivals that we proudly support in every way. Now then. This list down here IS NOT IN numerical order according to dates like the other link has. You can get on there and go by months and dates, so you can plan multiple vacation dates from one source like I do. YES I absolutely use it.
