That is one hell of a lineup. I love the southern rock feature this year’s festival will have. I’m happy to see some legends like Alabama and The Marshall Tucker Band and some newer acts like Blackberry Smoke, The Steel Woods and Whiskey Myers. I for one am looking forward to next year’s Tumbleweed and I hope you already have or are planning on getting a ticket soon while they are still on sale. Check out the website for more information.

Located just just south of Kansas City and easily accessible from Highway 69, the Tumbleweed Music Festival site is a perfect combination of convenience and stunning aesthetics.
Nestled within a 2,600 acre nature preserve, Tumbleweed is a hot spot for fishing, canoeing, archery and hunting. Stunning lakefront views and mature trees flank the Tumbleweed Main Stage and camping areas. Acres of a manicured forest with natural spring-fed creeks accent the rolling terrain. Despite the area’s broad sweeping terrain, the Tumbleweed footprint is small – you’re always just steps from Main Stage, camping and amenities.
Festival attendees can expect an incredibly convenient and comfortable experience. Leave the rest to the music, drinks and dancing!
Tumbleweed is Closer than You Think!
Tumbleweed is located 45 minutes from downtown Kansas City – an easy drive from many Heartland cities!!
This map shows a 5-hour drive radius:
So this listing here is how you can purchase tickets for this event, and then after that I’m going to include some hotel information so you can leave and have a nice warm bed, and an air conditioned room. MANY local hotels offer free breakfasts and many other luxuries the field crowd won’t have. HOWVER THIS YEAR there WILL BE showers.
I will be adding many things in the next few months in many aspects of this festival, so you should check back on this one weekly for news, info and videos. I work VERY closely with directors.
